OpenMind - Submission & Prize Draw Terms
Section 1: Submission Terms
By submitting your artwork to OpenMind, you agree to the following:
Your rights
-
Your artwork is yours. You keep ownership and copyright of your submitted work.
-
You may choose whether your work is shown with your full name, a display name, or anonymously.
-
You may ask to withdraw your submission before the stated submission deadline. After that point, printed or published materials may already be in production, so complete removal may not always be possible.
How we may use your submission
-
You give EmoEx permission to review, display, print, reproduce, crop, resize, and use your submitted artwork, title, written summary, and display name for the OpenMind exhibition, website, social media, media coverage, promotional materials, and event reporting.
-
We may edit formatting, layout, image size, or wording for display and promotion, but we will not change the overall meaning of your submission.
-
We may use trusted service providers and event partners to help run the exhibition, auction, and related promotion. We will not share your submission with third parties for AI training purposes.
-
Your submission will not be used to train AI models.
Auction and fundraising
-
Selected works may be included in the silent auction or other fundraising activities connected to OpenMind.
-
All proceeds from auction sales will go to Autism Kids Collective. If your work is selected for auction, you will not receive payment unless we agree otherwise in writing.
-
Copyright stays with you. If your work is sold, the buyer receives the physical printed piece or auction item only, not the copyright.
Other important points
-
You confirm that the submission is your own to share and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or include anything unlawful, abusive, or confidential.
-
Submission does not guarantee selection for exhibition or auction.
-
We may decline, remove, or withdraw any submission at any time if needed.
-
To the extent allowed by law, EmoEx is not responsible for losses, claims, or issues arising from your submission, auction listing, or use of third-party platforms.
