Niko Kargas is an Associate Professor in Psychology and Director of the Autism Research Innovation Centre at the University of Lincoln. With a PhD in Psychology, his expertise includes autism, neurodiversity, and animal-assisted interventions. Niko is known for his impactful research and numerous publications on autism, mental health, and human-animal interactions, making significant contributions to the field. His work is recognised with awards such as the Vice-Chancellor’s Public Engagement with Research Award.

Jenny has a distinguished academic background, with numerous publications and contributions to the field of mental health.

Martina Bruwer is an applied psychologist and educator with a passion for mental health and community empowerment. With a dynamic career spanning roles such as Support Worker, Behavioural Therapist, Practice Lead, Mental Health Clinician, and Trauma Counsellor she brings a wealth of experience and insight. Martina holds a Masters of Social Sciences and a Postgraduate Certificate in the Practice of Psychology in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of Waikato. Her commitment to education and mental health advocacy shines through her work, making her a valuable asset to any team focused on psychological well-being and community support.
