Jenny Hamilton is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Counselling and Psychological Therapies at the University of Lincoln, with over 20 years in the helping professions. She runs a private counselling practice, specialises in film therapy, and conducts extensive research in grief, PTSD, and neurodiversity. Jenny has a distinguished academic background, with numerous publications and contributions to the field of mental health.

Niko Kargas is an Associate Professor in Psychology and Director of the Autism Research Innovation Centre at the University of Lincoln. With a PhD in Psychology, his expertise includes autism, neurodiversity, and animal-assisted interventions. Niko is known for his impactful research and numerous publications on autism, mental health, and human-animal interactions, making significant contributions to the field. His work is recognised with awards such as the Vice-Chancellor’s Public Engagement with Research Award.

Martina Bruwer is an applied psychologist and educator with a passion for mental health and community empowerment. With a dynamic career spanning roles such as Support Worker, Behavioural Therapist, Practice Lead, Mental Health Clinician, and Trauma Counsellor she brings a wealth of experience and insight. Martina holds a Masters of Social Sciences and a Postgraduate Certificate in the Practice of Psychology in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of Waikato. Her commitment to education and mental health advocacy shines through her work, making her a valuable asset to any team focused on
